Kevin Dettler, house manager at the James House in Willmar, said it was "very fortunate" that none of the residents in the halfway rehabilitation home were injured when lightning struck house and caused a fire in the roof Monday. At the time, Dettler said he did not know where the residents would go if they were unable to occupy the facility.
