Chili fest begins Willmar Area Food Shelf’s month-long fundraiser

A home in the 400 block of Ninth Street Southwest in Willmar was damaged Friday as the result of a fire. Members of the Willmar Fire Department were called about 2:30 p.m. Friday, and firefighters had to break through the ceiling to fight the blaze. Area fire departments also assisted. A video from the scene also is posted online.
