(December 2, 9, 2017) MEETING NOTICE Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held before the Atwater Planning and Zoning Commission in the City Council chambers located at 322 Atlantic Ave West "Hotel Atwater" building in Atwater, Minnesota. The public hearing will be on December 19, 2017 at 5:30 P.M. The purpose of the hearing is to consider granting a conditional use permit to allow for first floor apartment in: SECT-12 TWP-119 RANGE-33 in Atwater (town) West 23' of Lot 8 and E 2' of LOT 9 is the legal description within the City of Atwater. 306 Atlantic Avenue West, (previously Jimmy's Pizza) Reason: Mike Nwachukwa doing business as Grace Living Home LLC is requesting a Conditional Use Permit for turning the first floor business area into a one bedroom apartment. Planning and zoning book states in Section 16.02 PERMITTED USES for B-1 Central business district is as follows: letter "F. Dwelling units above a store or shop." (Page 62) Persons wishing to be heard on this application are requested to be present at this meeting. If it is not possible to be at the meeting, you may express your opinion in writing to the Planning and Zoning Board.
