1-year-old girl injured in Becker County accident dies
A 1-year-old Detroit Lakes, Minn., girl has died from injuries suffered in a head-on accident Friday in Becker County, the Minnesota State Patrol said today.

Abigail Fingalson was airlifted to MeritCare Hospital after the accident and initially was in critical condition. She died Sunday, the patrol said in a news release.
The girl's parents, Blake Fingalson , 23, and Constance Fingalson , 21, both of Detroit Lakes, were in the car with the girl. Their injuries weren't life-threatening.
The accident happened at about 3:18 p.m. Friday on County Road 21 about seven miles north of Detroit Lakes. A southbound Dodge Neon driven by Blake Fingalson lost control on the icy road and struck a northbound Buick LeSabre, the patrol said.
