18-year-old sentenced for his role in fiery vehicle crash

WILLMAR — Ex-Savor Rene Cruz, 18, of Willmar, was sentenced Thursday to probation until his 19th birthday and 56 hours of community on a felony for motor vehicle theft and a misdemeanor for underage drinking and driving for his role in stealing a van, crashing it into a tree and then fleeing from the scene in a residential Willmar neighborhood.
