Tuesday, June 9
Family Fun "Milk Run" -- 6 p.m.
Open to all ages at Hodapp Track, Kennedy Elementary School, just off Willmar Avenue along Seventh Street S.W., in Willmar.
There will be running races ranging from the 100 meter "Half-Pint" to the mile "Gallon" run, along with special relay team categories; sponsored by Community Education and Recreation.
Wednesday, June 10
Prairie Winds Band Concert -- 7:30 p.m.
Rice Park: Kandiyohi Avenue and Third Street S.W. in Willmar; bring your own lawn chairs.
Thursday, June 11
KWLM Road Show -- 6:30 a.m. to noon.
Live broadcast from the Gene and Shelly Gatewood dairy farm; to get to the farm go east of Willmar on Willmar Avenue to County Road 8, south on CR8 four miles to 79th Street S.E., south one mile to 90th Avenue S.E., and west ¾ mile.
The road show is open to the public.
Thursday & Friday, June 11 & 12
Build-A-Burger -- 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Promotion at Cash Wise: Cheeseburger, milk and cookie for $2; ice cream sandwich for 50 cents; funds raised support local FFA chapters and 4-H clubs and help promote the dairy and beef industries.
Friday, June 26
Dairy cattle show -- 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Open to the public at the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds in Willmar. No admission fee; free milk.
