Access to Chippewa County Road 42 in Montevideo to close Monday
MONTEVIDEO -- Access to Chippewa County Road 42 from U.S. Highway 212 on the southeast corner of Montevideo will be closed beginning Monday.

The access is being closed due to the work to raise U.S. Highway 212 as part of the levee upgrade.
Access to businesses along Highway 212 will be available from the east. Southtown Plaza will be accessible from First Street.
The detour into Montevideo from East Highway 212 follows County Roads 16 and 15.
Access to County Road 42 is expected to re-open on Sept. 1.
