MINNEAPOLIS -- Adeline L. Gilberg, 94, of Minneapolis died Tuesday.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Lutheran Church in Minneapolis. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery.
Visitation will from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Morris Nilsen Chapel in Richfield and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Memorials are preferred
She was born Aug. 2, 1914, in Lake Lillian to Hjalmer and Lillie Rasmusson.
She married Palmer Gilberg on June 16, 1945. They lived in Minneapolis. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1969 and worked in curriculum resources for the Minneapolis Public Schools until her retirement in 1984.
She was a Girl Scout leader for many years and was active in her church.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1983, a sister and a brother.
