MADISON -- Adeline Roise, 100, of Madison died Saturday in Madison.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Faith Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Hayden Cemetery in Madison.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Zahrbock Funeral Home in Madison.
She was born Dec. 5, 1906, in rural Bellingham, to Carl and Anna (Struck) Wittnebel. She attended school at district 98, near her home.
She married John Roise on Feb. 13, 1943, in Walter Township, Lac qui Parle County. They farmed south of Madison until 1958. They then moved to a farm northeast of Madison until retirement when they moved to Madison in 1982.
She was a 4-H leader.
She is survived by her daughter: Dorothy Stenersen of Brainerd, her son: John (and Sue) Roise of North Mankato; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, seven brothers, including two in infancy, and a sister.
