Agnes E. Knapp

REDWOOD FALLS -- Agnes Elizabeth "Aggie" Knapp, 65, of Redwood Falls, died Monday at Western Arizona Regional Hospital in Bullhead City, Ariz.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Redwood Falls. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at the Nelson-Martin Funeral Service in Redwood Falls and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.
She was born Oct. 10, 1943, in Sanborn to Leo and Ellen (Schmidt) Irlbeck. She grew up in the Sanborn area, attended parochial school in Wanda and graduated from Wabasso High School in 1961. She worked as secretary at the Credit Bureau.
She married Robert Knapp on May 24, 1969, in Wanda. She worked at the Credit Bureau until 1984, when she, her husband and another partner purchased the Credit Bureau of Redwood Falls. They retired in November 2005 and the partnership merged with the Collection Bureau of Little Falls. In retirement they spent winters in Arizona.
She was a member of St. Catherine's Catholic Church, the Foresters and the Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion auxiliaries.
She is survived by her husband; son: Joel Knapp (and Stephanie Hamlin) of Redwood Falls; two grandchildren; her mother of Wabasso; brothers: Ronald Irlbeck and James Irlbeck, both of Sanborn; and sisters: Kathleen Riley of Wanda, Marlene Kosel of Wanda and Joyce Irlbeck of Wabasso.
She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
