Agnes Frank Aug. 10, 1920 - Jan. 12, 2009
OLIVIA -- Agnes Frank, 88, of Olivia died Monday at St. Therese Nursing Home in New Hope.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Olivia. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dirks-Blem Funeral Home in Olivia with a prayer service at 7 p.m. and from 9:15 to 10:15 Saturday at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1920, in Epping, N.D., to John Hannegrefs and Elizabeth Marks. She graduated from Epping High School in 1938 and then moved to Bird Island.
She married Milo Frank on Oct. 25, 1939. They built a home in Olivia in 1952. She moved to St. Therese in New Hope in 2003.
She is survived by her children: Jerry Frank of Brownsville, Texas, Gloria (and Ken) Hank of Little Falls, Tom (and Char) Frank of LaValle, Wis., Chuck (and Cherie) Frank of Salinas, Calif., Denny (and Barb) Frank of LaValle, Wis., Greg (and Theresa) Frank of Plymouth, Carolyn Martens of Golden Valley, Jeff (and Liz) Frank of Normal, Ill., Doug (and Deb) Frank of Olivia, and Brenda (and Bradley) Craig of Burnsville; 25 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and her sister: Myrtle Kotzenmacher.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1995; one granddaughter; son-in-law: Ken Martens; five brothers; and four sisters.
