WILLMAR -- Al (Eldred) Beckman, 90, of Willmar, died Saturday at Koronis Manor in Paynesville.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Koronis Manor Chapel.
He worked as an automotive engineer for Chrysler in Detroit for 49 years.
He married Elaine Adams, a Willmar teacher who he met in Elderhostel, in 2001. They lived in Willmar and Edgwater, Fla., until moving to Paynesville.
He is survived by his wife; three sons: Robert, Donald and Bruce; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Alice Beckman.
