Alan Egge wins Golf Challenge for third week in a row

Alan Egge of Grove City is the local winner for a third week in a row in the Wctrib.com's Golf Challenge on the Barclays Tournament held last weekend at Liberty National, New Jersey, N.Y.

Egge won the Golf Challenge with a score of $6,940,000. He won a free round of golf from contest sponsor Island Pine Golf Club in Atwater.

Tom Berning of Willmar finished second with a score of $6,660,000. Schroeder of Raymond finished third with a score of $4,280,000 .

The top VIP winner was Jan Queenan of Willmar with a score of $3,770,000, while Steve Ammermann of Willmar finished second with $3,370,000.

Heath Slocum won the Barclays last week by one shot.
