MORRIS -- Jacob Seth Cobb, 17, appeared in Stevens County District Court for an omnibus hearing Tuesday, where he pled not guilty to two counts of second-degree murder in the 2010 death of his mother, 50-year-old Tamara Lee Mason.

Cobb was certified to stand trial as an adult on Nov. 23, 2011. Trial dates have been set for August 2012.

Cobb's brothers, Dylan Clemens and Andrew Cobb, have pled guilty to charges of being an accessory after the fact to murder. Neither has been sentenced at this time.

Cobb is represented by Stephen Ferrazzano. The case is being prosecuted by Minnesota Assistant Attorney General William Klumpp and Stevens County Attorney Aaron Jordan, and being heard by Judge Jerry Seibel.
