Alice M. Lisecki Oct. 14, 1920 - Nov. 4, 2008
WILLMAR -- Alice May Lisecki, 88, of Willmar and formerly of Atwater, died Tuesday at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Church of St. Patrick in Kandiyohi. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.
She was born Oct. 14, 1920, in Harrison Township, Kandiyohi County, to Gust and Georgia (Robbinson) Peterson. She grew up in rural Atwater and attended the country school next to their farm.
She married Francis "Frank" Lisecki on Oct. 12, 1940, in Kandiyohi. They lived in Spicer, Atwater, Alexandria and Willmar where she worked various domestic jobs and as a waitress in restaurants. She was also a child care provider, a foster parent and a bookkeeper for her husband's machine shop. She was a member of the Church of St. Patrick and was active in various women's groups and in women's bowling leagues.
She is survived by her husband of Willmar; two daughters: Lucille (and Ken) Baumgartner of Park Rapids and Mary (and Ken) Kopel of Maple Grove; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings: Donald (and Mickey) Peterson, Edna Kluver of Forada and Hazel Nielson, all of Atwater.
She was preceded in death by one son: Richard Lisecki in 2001; one sister; and one brother.
