LITCHFIELD -- Allan LeRoy Moberg, 57, of Litchfield, died Saturday at Meeker Memorial Hospital in Litchfield.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Church of St. Philip in Litchfield. Burial will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Litchfield.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the church, with a parish prayer service and Knights of Columbus rosary at 8 p.m., and one hour before the service Tuesday. Arrangements are by Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home of Litchfield.

He was born Nov. 5, 1950, in Grafton, N.D., to Clifford and Hennrietta (Kratochvil) Moberg. His parents died when he was young, and he went to live with his paternal grandparents and was also cared for by his two uncles, Walter Moberg and Gerald Moberg. He graduated from New Folden High School in 1969. He lived in Grafton and Adams, N.D., and in Holt, Raymond and Atwater.

He married Janet Ann Ardolf on Aug. 25, 1972, in Watertown, S.D. They settled in Litchfield in 1975. He worked for Duininck Brothers, Olson Engineering and Manufacturing, Litchfield Greenhouse and Litchfield Eagles Club. He spent many years as yard foreman at Ideal Lumber.

He was an active member of St. Philip's Church and served as an usher. He was a member of the PJ Casey Council 2029 Knights of Columbus and the Fraternal Order of Eagles 3424.

He is survived by his wife; children: Keith (and Arlene) Kaminsky of Dale City, Va., Kevin Kaminsky of Raymond, Karen (and Kevin) Johnson of Faribault, Kathy (and Scott) Skalberg of Dassel, and Kerry (and Jennifer) Moberg of Elk River; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers: Kenneth (and Kristine) Moberg of Grafton, N.D., and Richard (and Mary) Moberg of Park River, N.D.; and sisters: Linda (and Henry) Mohagen and Shirley (and Jamey) Flom of Michigan, N.D.
