Alvarado, Hund, Tinklenberg pace Gusties' pool win

Three former Willmar Cardinal athletes helped the Gustavus Adolphus women's swimming and diving team submerge St. Olaf College 161-139 on Saturday.

Sophomore Alissa Tinklenberg and junior Sarah Hund each swam a leg on the 200 Freestyle relay which established a new Lund Natorium pool record with a time of 1:38.01.

In addition, Tinklenberg won the 500 Freestyle in 5:15.89 and the 200 Backstroke in 2:10.57 and took second in the 200 Freestyle in 1:57.05. Senior diver Alicia Alvarado placed second on the 1-meter board with a 184.0 total.
