Amateur Baseball: Anderson, Schroeder lift Atwater past Lakers

ATWATER — Jacolby Anderson was 3-for-3 with a home run, Justin Schroeder knocked in three runs and Michael Malvin threw seven-plus effective innings Monday to help the Atwater Chuckers double up the Norway Lake-Sunburg Lakers 8-4 in a County Line League game.

Jeff Peterson scored the first of his three runs in the first inning to give Atwater a quick 1-0 lead before Anderson homered to left leading off the second.
