Amateur Baseball: Danielson powers NL-Spicer to win
SPICER -- Mike Danielson drove in all the New London-Spicer runs as the Twins beat Lake Henry 3-2 in a non-league amateur baseball game Wednesday.
He hit a run-scoring single in the first inning and launched a two-run home run in the sixth, which gave NL-Spicer (8-6) a 3-2 lead.
He also picked up the win on the mound, allowing two runs on six hits. He struck out one and walked four. Austen Hadley pitched the ninth inning for the save.
Jon Lieser and Pat Wuertz had two hits each to lead Lake Henry.

Milroy 12, Bird Island 1
Milroy launched a 17-hit attack on Bird Island to end the game in the eighth inning. Eric Dolan had four hits while Dave Schmidt, Justin Schlemmer and Andy Schmidt had three apiece to spark the Yankees' offense.
Josh Hadley struck out six and gave up just two hits in six innings to get the win.
Dylan Gass knocked in Bird Island's only run in the seventh.

The Kilowatts kept it close through eight innings, but Sacred Heart piled up four insurance runs on four hits to win the Cornbelt South clash.
The Saints led 4-3 after six. Josh Hebrink's RBI single put them up 5-3 in the top of the seventh.
Hebrink also doubled in a run. Jeremy Hinderks threw the first eight innings, allowing seven hits, walking two and fanning seven for the win.
Phil Johnson had two hits for Granite Falls. The loss went to Tyler Kanten, who pitched well over the first 6Zc innings while giving up four hits, two walks and striking out four.
