Amateur baseball roundup: Milroy clips Raymond

RAYMOND — Milroy did all its damage at once, stringing getting four of its five hits for four runs in the fourth inning to beat Raymond 4-3 on Wednesday.

Milroy’s Chris Bauer, Eric Dolan and Josh Hadley knocked back-to-back-to-back singles off Raymond starter John Sawatzky, and Andy Schmidt followed with an RBI double.

An error and a sacrifice fly later, and Milroy had a 4-0 lead.

Raymond came back with two in their half of the inning and one more in the fifth.
