Anderson, Kimball receive DFL nods in 18, 18B

COKATO -- Darrin Anderson, who is running for the Minnesota House in District 18B, received the DFL endorsement Sunday in Cokato.

Also Sunday, Hal Kimball of Cokato received the DFL nod for Senate District 18.

Anderson, a resident of Litchfield, teaches social studies in the Willmar School District and is also an adjunct professor at St. Cloud State University. He recently announced his plans to seek election as the District 18B state representative. The seat is currently held by Republican Dean Urdahl of Grove City.

Kimball served 11 years in the Army and is a graduate of St. Cloud State University. He is seeking election to the seat currently held by Republican Steve Dille of Dassel, who has announced he does not plan to seek re-election.
