GRANITE FALLS - Ann Stevens, 79, of Granite Falls, died Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 10th at 2 pm at Granite Falls Lutheran Church. Burial will be held at Saron Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Friday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the Wing-Bain Funeral Home in Granite Falls and will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.

Funeral arrangements are with the Wing-Bain Funeral Home of Granite Falls for Ann Stevens.

Ann Rachel Stevens was born May 14, 1934, the daughter of Rowland & Gertrude (Branum) Norman, in Montevideo. She was baptized and confirmed at Saron Lutheran Church. She graduated from the Granite Falls High School with the Class of 1952.

Ann was united in marriage to Allard Stevens on March 15, 1981, at the Granite Falls Lutheran Church. She was a Quilter along the Yellowstone Trail member, Hospice volunteer, donor, enjoyed walking with the KCC Golden Grands and a friend to all.

Ann passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2013, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She was 79 years of age.

She is survived by her husband Allard, children: Robert Hamre of Richfield; Susan Hamre (Martin Keller) of Minneapolis; Marilynn (Mick) Mohrlant of Oakdale; Sandra (Derrald) Meyer of Plymouth; Sharon (John) Stampson of Longville; grandchildren: Tony, Alex, Zach, Kim, Kent, Kirk, Ashley, Andrew, Siri, Isak, Teddy, Anna, Erica, Jessie and Keelia; 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild; two brothers: Richard (Gloria) Norman of Rochester and David (Kaye) Norman of Redwood Falls, and several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorials preferred to Granite Falls Hospice.
