Annandale men to face charges for Meeker County burglaries

LITCHFIELD -- Law enforcement officials have pooled their investigative resources to catch two Annandale men accused of many burglaries across central Minnesota.

According to a news release from Meeker County Sheriff Jeff Norlin, James Irving Dale, 45, and Brent Paul Martin, 35, were arrested on Aug. 25 by the Morrison County Sheriff's Department.

Charges in Meeker County have been filed against Dale and Martin for allegedly burglarizing the A Maz'n Farmyard in rural Eden Valley in November and June and Kicker's Bar and Grill near Litchfield in March. Items stolen from the businesses were found when a search warrant was served Aug. 26 on the men's home along the 8600 block of 79th Street Northwest in Annandale.

Norlin says that numerous items were recovered tying the men to many burglaries in the region. In July, the sheriff's office joined other law agencies in pooling their resources to investigate dozens of burglaries that were similar and were sophisticated in nature.
