Anthony R. Tullis age 25, of Brooten, died on Thursday, August 14, 2014, at his home near Lake Linka. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2014, at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London. Burial will be at the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 5-8:00 pm on Tuesday at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake and continue one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Services are entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home in New London. . In Lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. www.hafh.org

Anthony Ray Tullis was born on September 2, 1988, in Glenwood, the son of Marc and Shelley (Knutson) Tullis. He was baptized at First Lutheran Church of Norway Lake in rural New London and confirmed into the Christian Faith at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten. Anthony grew up in Brooten where he received his education at BBE Elementary and High School graduating in 2007. He went on to study at St. Cloud Tech. He made his home in the Brooten area where he worked for Bakko Farms.

Anthony was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brooten. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting, fishing, trapping, and camping. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Shelley (Doug) Leuze of Brooten; father, Marc Tullis of Spicer; brother, Alex Tullis of Brooten; grandparents David and Elaine Knutson of Brooten, and Lucille Tullis of Glenwood; great-grandmother, Doris Knutson and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandfather, Raymond Knutson; uncle, Jon Knutson; and cousins, Cody, Travis and Todd.
