Appleton teen dies in accident
APPLETON -- A 16-year-old Appleton youth has died following a motorcycle crash Sunday in rural Appleton.

The Swift County Sheriff's Office identified the teen as Gary Telford.
The sheriff's office received a 911 call at 6:20 p.m. Sunday. The crash was reported on private property in the 2300 block of Highway 7, about one mile west of Appleton. The teen, who suffered multiple injuries, was unresponsive and was already receiving CPR when Appleton Police and Appleton Ambulance arrived. CPR and other life support measures continued as the teen was transported to Appleton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 7 p.m.
The accident is under investigation by the Swift County coroner and the Swift County Sheriff.
