Last week I spoke to a group of high school girls on the topic of living your passion as a career. It got me thinking: If I was a high school girl and had to do it over again, what advice do I wish I had been given?

So I reached out to my wise network of women on Facebook and posed the question. Here is a compilation of everything that they had to say:

That being a teenage girl is the hardest time of your life.

Be curious.

Ask questions.

Vote with your feet (meaning if you support something show up for it).

Be part of the conversation.

It is OK to speak up.
