Areavoices.com: Winter solstice arrives tomorrow

If you yearn for more sun and less darkness, you'll get an early Christmas gift tomorrow. At 11:30 p.m. Central time, the sun hits bottom in the sky, hesitates a moment and then resumes its slow journey northward to summer's endless days. Happy winter solstice!
