VILLARD -- Arlene Anna McKigney, 67, of Villard, died Wednesday at her home.
The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Sacred Heart in Glenwood. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenwood.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hoplin-Hitchcokk Funeral Home in Glenwood with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the service. Memorials are preferred.
She was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Sauk Centre to John and Leona (Hiltner) Wolbeck. She grew up near Sauk Centre.
She married Leo McKigney on Aug. 23, 1960, in Sauk Centre. The couple lived on a dairy and grain farm near Villard. She was a member of the Christian Mothers and made quilts for mission work.
She is survived by her husband; children: Darrell McKigney of Arlington, Va., Denise (and Ralph) Jenkins of Hope, Donavon McKigney of Minneapolis, Deanna McKigney of Eagan, Darren (and Christine) McKigney of Minneapolis, Dana (and Beth) McKigney of Champlin; two grandchildren; siblings: Rita (and Clarence) Trisko, Irma (and Dave) Bromenshenkel, Marilyn Bromenshenkel, Irene (and Vern) Uhlenkamp, Doris (and Dallas) Hamilton, all of Sauk Centre, Joyce (and Mike) Primus of Melrose, Arlis (and Dave) Pesta of Long Prairie, Irvin (and Donna) Wolbeck, LeRoy Wolbeck, Donald (and Jeanine) Wolbeck, all of Sauk Centre; three stepsisters and three stepbrothers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother: Juletta (Kunstleben) Wolbeck; and one stepsister.
