Arley H. Schuler Feb. 14, 1916 - April 18, 2009
MADISON -- Arley Harriet Schuler, 93, of Severn, Md., formerly of Madison, died Saturday at the home of her daughter in Maryland.
The services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the United Methodist Church in Madison. Burial will be at the Hamlin Cemetery in rural Madison.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Zahrbock Funeral Chapel in Madison and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
She was born Feb. 14, 1916, in rural Madison to Frank and Carrie (Hill) Wallsmith. She grew up on the family farm in Garfield Township and graduated from School District No. 83 in 1932. She attended the Minnesota School for the Deaf in Faribault graduating in 1938. She attended cosmetology school in Minneapolis and worked numerous jobs in that field.
She married Earl Schuler on June 8, 1943, in Madison. They moved to Maryland in 1999.
She is survived by her daughter: Karen (and Jim) Hiepler of Severn, Md.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2001, one sister and one brother.
