MAYNARD -- Arnold Lee Coulter, 84, of rural Maynard, died Tuesday at the Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Maynard Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in Terrace Lawn Memory Gardens, rural Montevideo.
Visitation will be this afternoon and evening with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m. and a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home in Montevideo.
He was born March 9, 1924, in Stoneham Township, Chippewa County, to Harold and Sarah (Tebben) Coulter. He attended school in Maynard.
He married Marie Sorensen on July 30, 1944, in Kerkhoven. They lived in rural Maynard where he farmed and worked at the Southern Minnesota Sugarbeet Co-op for several years. He was a 4-H leader and drove for Meals on Wheels. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Maynard where he served as treasurer for many years, was a trustee and an elder.
He is survived by his wife; five children: Gary (and Becky Baker) Coulter of Maynard, Glen (and Leanna) Coulter of Great Falls, Mont., Lee (and Helen) Coulter of Lawton, Iowa, Marilyn (and Lyn Redding) Coulter of Eden Prairie and Cindy (and Harold) Ellingboe of Maynard; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; siblings: Ralph (and Lela) Coulter of Maynard and Myrtle Raebel of Montevideo.
