Arnold K. Cobb Feb. 25, 1926 - April 21, 2009
TILLAMOOK, Ore. -- Arnold Kenneth Cobb, 83, formerly of Willmar, died April 21 in Portland, Ore.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Tillamook.
Waud's Funeral Home in Tillamook is handling arrangements.
He was born Feb. 25, 1926, in Willmar to James and Myrtle (Snyder) Cobb.
He married Claire Hookom on Aug. 15, 1952, in Willmar. He worked for more than 50 years making and installing fluorescent and neon signs. He served in the Merchant Marine. He lived in Garden Grove, Calif., for eight years.
He was a Boy Scout leader, was a member of the Tillamook Elks Lodge, the Moose Lodge and Redeemer Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his wife of Rockaway Beach, Ore.; children: Dale (and Joanne) Cobb of Portland, Nancy (and David) Nichols of Rockaway Beach and Wendie (and James) Pounds of Hillsboro, Ore.; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one brother: Howard Cobb of Santa Maria, Calif.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
