BENSON -- Arol Joseph Olson, 90, of Benson, died Wednesday at the Swift County Benson Hospital.

The services will be at 2 p.m. today at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Burial will be in the Benson City Cemetery.

Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are by Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.

He was born March 23, 1918, in Westbrook-Highwater Township to Andreas and Kristine (Petersdotter Bergseth) Olson. He grew up in Benson and attended school through the eighth grade.

He married Pearl Othelia Jergenson on April 18, 1942, in Benson. He worked at Ladd's Hatchery for 23 years, Mattheisen Sanitation, Platte Valley Ditch Work, Schaaf's TV and Forbord Furniture.

He was a member of Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his son: Jerry Olson of Benson; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; son: Robert J. Olson; and 10 siblings.
