Arthur J. Clark Dec. 21, 1937 - Oct. 19, 2008
WILLMAR -- Arthur Jon Clark, 70, of Willmar died Sunday at Willmar Commons Nursing Home in Willmar.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Tripolis Lutheran Church in rural Kandiyohi.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Harvey Anderson Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
He was born Dec. 21, 1937, in Wausau, Wis., to Archie and Bernice (Roloff) Clark. He grew up in Wisconsin and attended Bensenville High School. He joined the U.S. Navy and was stationed in Arlington, Va., and received an honorable discharge. He then worked for Boeing Aircraft in Seattle and other companies.
He married Arlene Bormann on Aug. 8, 1959. He began working as an over-the-road truck driver and was employed by Kandi Kountry Express. He retired in 2001. He was a member of the Willmar Senior Citizens Center.
He is survived by his children: Caron (and Dale) Wartman of Atwater, Arthur Jon Clark Jr. of Anchorage, Alaska, Janeen (and Nile) Cunningham of Clarinda, Iowa, Gayle (and Dave) McClain of Willmar; eight grandchildren; siblings: Robert (and Mary) Clark of Illinois, Barbara Rush of Wisconsin, William (and Verna) Clark of Illinios, Sandra (and Merrill) Cork of Florida and Bruce (and Sue) Clark of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
