Artists, craftsmen display, sell wares today in New London, Minn.
NEW LONDON -- The inaugural New London Fine Art Festival opened Friday and continues today in New London.
The artists and craftsmen are showing and selling their artwork in the area between the newly finished natural-flow dam and Holm Park.
Sharon Howell is the guest artist. She was a longtime resident of the Willmar area and has had numerous gallery exhibits in the Twin Cities. Howell is a painter and her medium is watercolor. She has created a series of paintings specifically for this year's Art Festival.
Today there will be a horse-drawn wagon ferrying visitors between the Fine Art Festival and the New London Music Festival at Neer Park.

Hall, watercolor/linoleum block prints; Gloria Monson, fabric; Andre Nelson, drawings/watercolor; Patt Nelson, watercolor; Joe Pictor, watercolor; Sharon Schuetze, watercolor; Roxanne Strom, jewelry; Doug Tollefson, hand-forged knives; Jean Menden, silver/metal jewelry; Jeri Olson-McCoy, fiber; and Art Norby, sculpture and paintings.
