BENSON -- Audrey LaVonne Lee, 82, of Benson died Thursday afternoon at Golden Living Center of Benson.
The service will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Assembly of God Church in Benson. Bu-rial will be in Benson City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Assembly of God Church and one hour before the service at the church. Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson is handling arrangements.
She was born Feb. 22, 1926, at her home in Kandiyohi County to Edward and Edith (Johnson) Beck. She grew up on a farm in Kandiyohi County, attended District 35 School and graduated from Willmar High School. She continued her education at Litchfield teachers training.
She married Chester Lee on June 14, 1947, at Assembly of God Church in Willmar. She taught at District 61 School. After their marriage, they moved to a farm in Benson Township. They later moved into Benson.
She was a member of Assembly of God Church in Benson and the Gideons International Auxiliary. She was a hospice volunteer and worked with home extension.
She is survived by her husband; children: Arlon (and Lena) Lee of Blue Earth, Arvid (and Nancy) Lee of Burnsville, Phyllis (and Aaren) Ruud of Benson, Renae (and Darrel) Gronli of St. Louis Park; 13 grandchildren; and siblings: Ardys Johnson of Granite Falls, Eunice (and Don) Jelley of Willmar, and Lois (and Gale) Dahlager of Sacred Heart.
She was preceded in death by one brother.
