Bachmann embraces conservative talk radio, says birther movement is a non-issue

Rep. Michelle Bachmann appeared on national television Tuesday night on Larry King Live on CNN.

Bachmann said that conservative talk radio - representing about 2 percent of the American population, according to King - is America's new critical mass.

She said she is comfortable with Rush Limbaugh and Glen Beck being the voice of the Republican Party.

She also said the birther issue concern is "flat out non-issue." Some conspiracy theory followers believe that President Barack Obama was born in Kenya, not in Hawaii, and that his Hawaii birth certificate is forged.
