This is a program developed by University of Minnesota Extension aimed at current issues and research in corn/soybean crop production with the intent to ultimately help increase a producer’s margins. Topics and presentations include managing cost of production by Bret Oelke, key soybean and corn diseases by Dean Malvick, an insect management update by Bruce Potter, and high cost management and return in soybeans by Seth Naeve.

This program is aimed at providing crop management benefits to producers and ag professionals. Program cost is $30 which includes lunch (provided courtesy of local sponsors) and handouts. Registration begins at 9 a.m. and the program continues through 2:30 p.m.

Four certified crop adviser continuing education units have been applied for at the Willmar location.

Advance registration is not required. For more information contact Dave Nicolai at the Regional Extension Office at Farmington at 320-480-7706.
