The Jaguars had the game well in hand holding a 10-point lead with three minutes left. But when BBE tried to slow things down in the half-court, the Braves were quick to provoke turnovers.

The Braves cut the BBE lead to three points with 26 seconds left in the game and had possession of the ball, but a three-point attempt with eight seconds remaining bounced off the rim.

Lensing finished with 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Jaguars. Roelike got the majority of her baskets on fast breaks, plus a pair of three-pointers to finish with 18.

Sophomore guard Julie Hieserich provided six points and seven steals.

For Benson, which led 34-21 at half, the scoring was balanced: Sarah Ahrndt 10 points, Jenny Bouta nine (10 rebounds), Abby Fragodt eight (10 rebounds, seven assists) and Breanna Lohn seven.
