Benson, KMS approve school funding measures

School funding questions in the Benson and in the Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg school districts were approved by voters in Tuesday’s election.

In Benson, voters agreed to repeal an existing operating levy and replace it with a larger one for the next four years. The question passed with 56 percent of the vote, 653 to 520 votes.
