Benson, Minn., garage fire ruled arson, reward offered for information

BENSON -- A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for an arson fire early Monday morning in Benson.

According to Benson Police Chief Mike Jambor, the fire was reported along the 200 block of 15th Street South early on Monday morning. The circumstances surrounding the fire appeared suspicious to the responding police and fire officials.

State Fire Marshal Casey Stotts was called to investigate and determined the fire was a result of arson.
