MORRIS -- Berdella Mabel Jost of Morris, 90, died Monday at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris.
The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Morris.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris and for one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
She was born Sept. 7, 1917, in Donnelly to John and Mabel (Scofield) Strand. She grew up on the family homestead near Donnelly. She attended country school. She graduated in 1936 from the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris. She worked in the food service department at the Morris Hospital and the University of Minnesota, Morris.
She married Donald Jost on Nov. 6, 1970, in Morris. She retired in 1976.
She was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Morris, where she was in the ladies aid.
She is survived by her husband; children: Judelle (and Len) Bull of St. Cloud, Dennis (and Leslie) Twenge of Spokane, Wash., Duane (and Jane) Twenge of Wesley Chapel, Fla., and Rebecca Roberts of Centennial, Colo.; step-sons: Ken (and Nora) Jost of Morris and Joe (and Susan) Jost of Morris; 23 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and one sister: Joyce (and Don) Huebner of Morris.
She was preceded in death by her first and second husbands: Sigwald Twenge and Ray Summer; a son: Sheldon Twenge; a grandson; a step-son: Richard Jost; a step-daughter: LouAnn Jost; six brothers and three sisters.
