Bernice Berg Aaberg Aug. 15, 1919 - July 3, 2009
STARBUCK -- Bernice Olive Berg Aaberg, 89, of Starbuck died Friday at Central Minnesota Senior Care Center in Starbuck.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at Fron Lutheran Church in Starbuck. Burial will be in Bethany/Bethesda Lutheran Cemetery in rural Starbuck.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Starbuck Funeral Home.
She was born Aug. 15, 1919, in Starbuck to Hans and Nina (Olson) Halvorson. She attended Starbuck High School.
She married Ellsworth Berg on June 24, 1939. They lived in Starbuck.
She married Edward Aaberg on March 5, 1984, and they lived in Starbuck. She moved to the Central Minnesota Senior Care Center in 2008.
She is survived by her children: Eugene (and Karen) Berg of Parker, Ariz, and Cheryl (and Brent) Shelton of Alexandria, Va.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; three sisters: Clarice Hanson of Starbuck, Lorraine Tibetts of Minneapolis and Olive (and Roy) Berens of Benson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Ellwsorth in 1969 and Edward in 2007; three daughters: Beverly, Annette and Janet; four brothers; and one sister.
