BEST Robotics starts Saturday in New London, Minn.
NEW LONDON -- The kickoff and unveiling of the 2012 game field for the new season of Minnesota BEST Robotics is Saturday at New London-Spicer High School.

The annual robotics competition by high school students from across the state includes a new and different game and objective each year.
This year's game field will be unveiled at the kickoff event.
The kickoff begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and also includes explanation of the game rules for the year and breakout sessions on the engineering notebook project that goes with the robots, the marketing presentations and exhibits by students along with training seminars on MathWorks, VEX hardware and robot building.
