Beverly Erdman Feb. 7, 1952 - Nov. 21, 2008
STARBUCK -- Beverly Ann Erdman, 56, of Starbuck died Friday at the Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at East Zion Lutheran Church, rural Starbuck.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Starbuck Funeral Home in Starbuck and for one hour prior to services at the church.
She was born Feb. 7, 1952, in Benson to Carl and Olive (Halls) Dokken. She grew up and was educated in Benson, graduated from Benson High School and attended Mankato Beauty Institute.
She married Wendell Erdman on Jan. 12, 1973, in Benson. They lived in rural Starbuck and she worked nearly 30 years in the housekeeping department of the Minnewaska Lutheran Home in Starbuck. She was a member of East Zion Lutheran Church where she served as custodian for 22 years; taught Sunday school; served on the worship committee and church council.
She is survived by her husband; children: Amy Erdman (and special friend Randy Lange) of Hutchinson, Ryan (and Sarah) Erdman of Savage, Josh (and Diane) Erdman of Shakopee; siblings: Clarice Larson of Kerkhoven, Marion Bommersbach of Kindred, N.D., Arlene (and DeWayne) Danielson of Glenwood, Linda (and Glen) Rood of Sunburg, Luverne (and Delores) Dokken of Sunburg, Clinton (and Margaret) Dokken of New London and Wendell Dokken of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
