Blizzard warning begins tonight in west central Minn.

WILLMAR A winter blizzard warning goes into effect from 1 a.m. Monday to 1 a.m. Tuesday. Winds of 30 to 40 miles per hour with gust of near 50 mph are expected. Snow accumulations of two to four inches are likely.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff's office warns that wind gusts will create poor visibility in areas along with drifting. The snow is exptected to begin falling in the region

late this evening and taper off late Monday morning.
