Blommel, Fesenmaier make all-tournament

Freshman hitter Karie Blommel and sophomore setter Carina Fesenmaier of the Ridgewater Lady Warriors were selected to the 12-player 2008 MCAC State Volleyball All-Tournament Team.

Additionally, Fesenmaier, Jordan Olerud, Leah Miller and Stephanie Tillman were named to the All-Southern Division Team.

Ridgewater hosts the Region 13A tournament, which begins Friday with two semifinal matches. The Lady Warriors play Western Wisconsin at 6 p.m. and Madison Area Tech will face Rochester at 8 p.m. The championship is Saturday at 1 p.m.
