No bomb was found, and Canby Police and the Yellow Medicine Sheriff's Department are seeking information on who may be responsible.

The bomb threat was discovered around 11:24 a.m. when two female students discovered the words "bomb in school'' scrawled in pen on a bathroom stall door in the Main Administrative Building. They reported the discovery, and Campus Dean Rebecca Weber ordered the buildings evacuated according to school protocol.

Voting was disrupted at a polling location within the Technology Building due to the need to evacuate it as well as several other, nearby buildings.

The scene was declared safe at 1 p.m. and normal activity resumed, including at the polling place.

The Canby Police, Fire, Ambulance and Yellow Medicine Sheriff's Department and State Patrol responded to the incident.

If anybody has any information concerning this crime, please call the Canby Police Department at 507-223-7211.
