Bonnie Lou Jeitz Sept. 29, 1947 - June 8, 2009
HANCOCK -- Bonnie Lou Jeitz, 61, of Hancock, died Monday at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood.
The service will be at 11 a.m. today at West Zion Lutheran Church in rural Hancock. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson.
She was born Sept. 29, 1947, in Alexandria to Elmer and Mildred (Johnson) Seward. She grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Alexandria High School. She attended one year at St. Cloud State University.
She married Bradford Stanley Jeitz on Aug. 26, 1967, in Alexandria. She was a farmwife and worked on their farm in Hoff Township.
She was a member of West Zion Lutheran Church and its ladies group and served in various church offices.
She is survived by her husband; daughters: Becky (and Roger) Hippe of Starbuck and Sherry (and Bill) Rutledge of Bemidji; five grandchildren; and one brother: Rod (and Jan) Seward of Carlos.
She was preceded in death by one grandchild and two brothers.
