SPICER -- Bonniemary L. Fladeboe, 79, of Spicer, died Friday at home following an extended illness.

The service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar. Burial will be in Cloverleaf Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar and for one hour prior to the service Monday at the church.

She was born June 13, 1929, in Minneapolis to Edwin W. and Justine (Cooper) Harder. She graduated from Minneapolis Washburn High School in 1947 and the Minnesota School of Business in 1948. She moved to Willmar to work at the Willmar State Hospital.

She married Charles Fladeboe on Oct. 29, 1950, in Minneapolis. They lived in Alexandria, Va., and Enterprise, Ala., while Charles' National Guard unit was activated. When he was discharged, they returned to Willmar. They built a home on Lake Henderson in 1989. She was a homemaker, and they owned and operated the Little Store in Willmar from 1961 to 1972. She later worked at Presbyterian Family Foundation and retired in 1999.

She belonged to several bridge clubs, the coffee group at Cash Wise, the Red Hat Society and was a member of Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar.

She is survived by her children: Jann (and Larry) Anderson of Watertown, Steve (and Sheryl) Fladeboe of Spicer, Stacy (and Judy) Fladeboe of Spicer, Kevin (and Lois) Fladeboe of Willmar and Craig Fladeboe (and Liz Johnson) of Willmar; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her stepmother: Leora Harder of Plymouth; and two sisters: Margie Harder of Plymouth and Gretchen (and Kevin) Ahlquist of Mahtomedi.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000 and one brother.
