Both drivers hurt in icy Pope County, Minn., crash
GLENWOOD -- Two men were taken to Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood for treatment of injuries sustained in a two-vehicle crash around 8 a.m. this morning in Pope County.
According to the State Patrol, Timothy Martin, 30 of Alexandria, was driving a Chrysler that struck a 1994 Ford pickup driven by Ronald Hayek, 26, of Glenwood. The pickup spun out on the icy roadway in front of the Chrysler.
The crash happened at the intersection of State Highway 29 and 120th Street. Also responding was the Pope County Sheriff's office.
